Rationale:

As stated in the Pollution Control Law (RA 3931), there is an imperative need to best protect the people from the mounting peril of environmental pollution. It is, as responsible individuals, a necessity to take all the essential measures to best prevent or abate any form of pollution which are indeed harmful and detrimental to public health. The course outline was revised in accordance with DAO 2014-02.

  6. RA 9003: The Ecological Solid Waste Management Act
  7. DAO 2014-02: Revised Guidelines for PCO Accreditation
  8. Climate Change and Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS)
  9. Compliance Monitoring Report (CMR) Preparation
  10. Self Monitoring Report (SMR) Form and On-line SMR Submission
  11. Data Collection, Sampling and Sample Analysis of Water and Wastewater
  12. Soil Sampling and Analysis
  13. Air Quality Sampling and Source Emission Testing
  14. Incident Investigation and Reporting

Methodology:

This five-day training program would make use of lectures, discussions, workshops and site visit. There will be a pre- and post- examination.
