Led by its Project Leader, Dr. Eric C. Cruz, the project team of the Feasibility Study and Detailed Engineering Design of Seawall Alignment in the Municipalities of Pasacao, Minalabac, and San Fernando Camarines Sur (Camsur Seawall FS & DED) Project is conducting a training on MIKE 21 (Hydrodynamic and Spectral Wave Modules) from April 25-28, 2023 at the UPMO-FCMC – Flood Control and Sabo Engineering Center Building in Pasig City. Attending the workshop are engineering and technical staff of the UPMO-Flood Control Management Cluster of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Mike 21 is a comprehensive modeling system for simulating hydraulics and hydraulic-related phenomena in estuaries, coastal waters, and seas. The training will be most helpful to DPWH engineers whose line of work is in assessing wave climates and wave prediction and analysis, among others.
The training is part of the activities of the Camsur Seawall FS & DED Project that the UPNEC is implementing for the DPWH.
