A ๐จ๐ฃ ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐๐ฆ๐ง title (three levels: I, II, & III) is conferred to faculty members for their outstanding scientific productivity and international recognition. These include publications in prestigious journals as authors or editors-in-chief, technological outputs such as patents, and scientific recognition in the form of international scientific awards, and membership in international boards as editors.
Meanwhile, every year since 2016, Asian Scientist Magazine compiles a list of Asiaโs most outstanding researchers. The ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ก ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐๐ฆ๐ง ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ list celebrates the success of the regionโs best and brightest, highlighting their achievements across a range of scientific disciplines. To be acknowledged on this list, the honouree must have received a national or international prize in the preceding year for his or her research. Alternatively, he or she must have made a significant scientific discovery or provided leadership in academia or industry.
