Course Description:
- This introductory course equips aspiring and current engineering leaders with the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to excel in managing engineering projects and organizations. It explores the intersection of technical proficiency, efficient management, and effective leadership, covering key areas like strategic planning, financial management, marketing, operations, technology, project management, communication, and ethical decision-making.
Course Objectives:
- The training seeks to improve the management and leadership skills of the participants, especially those in charge with technical or technology-related responsibilities. This introductory course exposes the participant to the Engineering Management Book of Knowledge for the improvement of his management skills as an Engineering Manager. Specifically, at the end of the full program, the participants should be able to:
