The Training Center for Applied Geodesy and Photogrammetry (TCAGP) in collaboration with the University of the Philippines National Engineering Center (UP NEC) holds the 2023 Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Training at UP NEC Seminar Room A. The training aims to equip the participants with the latest trends and tools being used for satellite positioning and its applications. Several experts from Japan introduced the latest technology on GNSS specifically Multi-GNSS ADvanced Orbit and Clock Augmentation (MADOCA). The hyflex training is being attended by representatives from the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), faculty members and students from the UP Department of Geodetic Engineering. Providing the lecture on site is Dr. Dinesh Manandhar from the University of Tokyo while Dr. Nobuaki Kubo of Tokyo University Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT) presented the lecture online. Two (2) representatives from Japan Cabinet Office: Dr. Tadashi Sasakawa and Ms. Yoko Sakai are also in attendance. Dr. Rosalie Reyes hosts the GNSS training that runs from July 5-7, 2023.
