The High-Performance Computing Facility of the UP College of Engineering was inaugurated yesterday, 15 February 2023 at the ground floor of Juinio Hall. Attending the event were UP President Angelo Jimenez, UP VP for Planning and Development Ferdinand Pecson, UPD Chancellor Fidel Nemenzo, UPD VC for Administration Adeline Pacia, COE Dean Maria Antonia Tanchuling, COE Administration and Unit Heads,and UPERDFI Trustees and Members. Some of the donors were present as well – Julie Hudson of the Friends of UP Foundation in America; Edgardo Atanacio of UP Foundation, Inc.; Michael Roberto Reyes of DCCD Engineering Corp.; Victor Villagracia (represented by Edgardo Paynor); and Jose Albano (represented by Ester Albano Garcia).
The event was hosted by Ms. Rizalina Gervasio Mantaring and was covered by the UP Media Relations Office. This event was co-organized by the UPERDFI, UP College of Engineering, and the UP National Engineering Center.
