The UP NEC Management Committee composed of Dr. Rosalie Reyes, Ms. Ma. Elena Ignacio, Ms. Berinice Zamora, Ms. Rea Bunuan and Ms. Arlene de Ocampo went on to its 4th roadshow of the year for UP COE Faculty members on April 13, 2023. Ms. Zamora, head of UP NEC Projects and Development Management Division (PDMD) presented before the Department of Chemical Engineering Faculty during its faculty meeting. In attendance were senior and junior faculty on-site and others via zoom. Highlighting opportunities for collaboration between the faculty and UP NEC, Ms. Zamora explained NEC’s mandate and how the partnership can benefit the faculty and the department.
Some faculty members from the DChE already engages with UP NEC in terms of training offering, technical assistance as well as publication and events. The roadshow aims to disseminate information on the mutual benefits of partnership which in turn helps in nation-building.
