The UP NEC Management Committee conducted a back to back roadshow to the Department of Geodetic Engineering and the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute last March 27, 2023. UP NEC Administrative Officer Ms. Maria Elena Ignacio presented before the faculty of DGE highlighting the collaboration opportunities between UP NEC and the faculty. DGE Chairman, Dr. Jak Sarmiento encouraged the faculty members to continue working with UP NEC in developing training and projects as they have previously done in the past. It was noted that some training participants from UP NEC paved the way for partnership with DGE in research and consultancy.
UP NEC’s Professional Engineering Training Division (PETD) head, Ms. Ma. Rea Bunuan presented before the EEEI faculty. She highlighted the mandate of UP NEC and the role of the UP COE faculty members in achieving this. Present during the meeting are senior and junior faculty members who were enjoined to get actively involved in UP NEC’s activities.
